How much is a Davos business transfer? Comparing quotation scope. A useful price comparison starts with matching the service details, not just the final number.

Two business-transfer quotations can have different totals because they describe different services. One may cover a direct journey while another includes a hotel stop, retained time or a larger vehicle for equipment. Before choosing a quotation for a Davos visit, make the underlying request consistent. This gives the organiser a sound basis for approval and reduces disputes caused by assumptions that were never included in the price.

Create one specification for every quotation

Use the same date, pickup time, exact addresses, passenger count and luggage description for each request. Include return movements separately and disclose all planned stops. If you need a particular vehicle category, name the category rather than assuming every provider uses Business or Premium in the same way. State whether the service is a single transfer or an hourly assignment, since those are different booking structures.

If one request includes a colleague collected from a second hotel, include that same stop in the other requests used for comparison. Otherwise, the totals answer different questions. A small specification table can make this visible without requiring a lengthy procurement document for an ordinary business transfer.

Ask what timing the quotation covers

Clarify the pickup arrangement, any agreed waiting and what happens when the itinerary changes. Do not invent a standard waiting allowance or assume it applies equally to airport, hotel and event collections. For an hourly request, ask how the booked period begins and ends and which movements are included. Davos Taxi accepts hourly chauffeur requests with a minimum of eight hours, subject to confirmation of the specific plan.

Check capacity against the actual party

Compare passenger and luggage capacity, including unusual items. A lower price for a smaller category is not a like-for-like option if the party cannot travel comfortably with its bags. Ask for clarification when a quotation refers only to a model name without explaining the category or practical arrangement. Do not treat an illustrative website photograph as a promise that a particular registration or vehicle configuration will be assigned.

Separate stated prices from optional additions

List the confirmed total alongside any options still awaiting a decision. If a route changes, ask for the revised fare before approving it. Keep payment timing, the responsible payer and any agreed deposit clear in the comparison. Avoid presenting a quotation as fully inclusive unless the provider has stated what is included; an attractive headline figure is not enough to resolve an undefined stop or service period.

Record the reason for the selected option

When obtaining company approval, attach the final specification and the provider’s confirmation. Briefly state why the chosen category fits the party and itinerary. This is more useful later than a screenshot of a price alone. After selection, release any unneeded provisional requests with the relevant providers rather than leaving several teams expecting the same passenger, and retain the confirmed booking reference in the travel file.

Can I compare only the final price?

Only after checking that the routes, service periods, capacities and included arrangements match.

Are vehicle category names standard across providers?

Do not assume so; ask what category and capacity the quotation actually covers.

What should I keep for internal approval?

The agreed journey specification, final quotation and confirmation reference.
